See Canyon Fruit Ranch Wedding

Last weekend, we were honored to photograph a gorgeous See Canyon Fruit Ranch wedding. Denise and Ben celebrated their love at the venue tucked just between San Luis Obispo and Avila Beach. in the presence of friends and family.

Denise and Ben’s Love Story…

20 years ago, Denise and Ben met for the first time. Denise’s mother Cindy had arranged a blind date brunch of sorts. Surprisingly, neither party was aware of the attempted match-make. This was apparent at the brunch – it was awkward and Denise was nice enough to give Ben a ride home. That was that… or so they thought.

Eighteen years later they would reunite on a stormy night in Morro Bay. An Oingo Boingo cover band called “Dead Man’s Party” was playing at the Siren, a local bar and concert venue. Denise had purchased tickets to the event for her friends, who were avid Oingo Boingo fans. Ben, his brother Chad, and sister-in-law Chelsea were across the street at Legends, a dive bar where pizza can be ordered through a hole in the wall. Additionally, it’s the only other establishment open at night in Morro Bay.

Looking across the street at the Siren, Ben took interest in the live music. In the pouring rain, they decided to cross the street and check it out. The Siren was packed, but Ben saw someone familiar buying drinks from the bar. It was Denise! They danced the night away to Oingo Boingo, and their love quickly blossomed.

Soon, they were engaged and planning a life and family together. Two years later, they would be celebrating the birth of their first son, Maximus. Now, they’ve just celebrated their love with the most beautiful wedding!
