Sophia and Joseph’s Tiber Canyon Ranch Wedding

Last weekend, we got to shoot a beautiful Tiber Canyon Ranch wedding! Sophia and Joseph tied the knot on this beautiful property surrounded by friends and family. Their wedding was so special, especially because this is Tiber Canyon’s last year hosting weddings!

How They Met…

What are the chances of meeting the love of your life 2 blocks from your house? Sophia and Joseph’s story started at Pali Wine Bar in Little Italy. In fact, it started just 1 week before COVID shutdown the world!

It was a casual Saturday night in March. Sophia’s friend Kaila was visiting and she decided to take her to the wine bar down the street. Sophia was a member there and would go about once a month. However, this month, Joseph was working the night she went in! He gave Sophia and Kaila a few complimentary tastings and they chatted for a while until he needed to head back into the kitchen.

Sophia and her friend were just about to leave, but she wanted to say bye to the outgoing and handsome man that kept refilling her glass! Finally, Joseph walked out of the kitchen and handed her a tasting card. It read “Joe” with a phone number that was hardly legible. The next day, Sophia texted him and got a group together to go bowling! When she saw him, it was confirmed!! It was not the 4 glasses of wine talking the night before – he was just as handsome as she remembered.

Their First Date!

Two days later, Joseph went over to Sophia’s house for their first official date. He brought over TWO bottles of wine (a red and a white), a wine book, and made her dinner. That’s when she knew he was a keeper. Little did she know at the time, she had found the most perfect man and her own private chef who loves to spontaneously come up with delicious new meals without a recipe. After their dinner date, they were inseparable (thanks to the never-ending quarantine).

Joseph and Sophia compliment each other perfectly. Sophia says, “Where I am weak he is strong. I’ve never felt so complete; so loved, protected, needed and relaxed than when I with him. He is such a strong and supportive partner I cannot believe I met someone so perfect for me and I get to spend my life with him.”

We were so honored to have been a part of their special day. Sophia and Joseph were a joy to be around and we wish them all the best!
